Hey, I’m Rae.
the story behind Wayfinding Kaia
Wayfinding Kaia started from a simple truth: a lot of travel and leisure spaces were never built with us in mind. From ski trips to surf breaks to F1 weekends, there’s always been that quiet question
“Is this space actually for me?”
We’ve all joked, “that’s some white people shit.”
But actually? It’s not.
It’s ours too.
Wayfinding Kaia was born from choosing to show up anyway with culture, confidence, and community.
Kaia means home.
And that’s what this whole movement is about: finding home everywhere.
Home in new hobbies.
Home in new people.
Home in spaces we never thought we’d be in, but now claim with ease.
We’re a new generation of explorers, professionals, and creatives who crave connection. We bring culture to the courts, warmth to the mountains, and rhythm to the waves.
Belonging isn’t handed to us, we build it together.
Our mission is simple:
Create a world where people of colour feel seen, welcomed, and celebrated in every space, from rooftops to mountain peaks.
This is what belonging looks like.
This is Wayfinding Kaia.
If you’ve ever felt that little pull, that sense that there’s more life to be lived,
then you’re already a WAYFINDER.
