Trent Park is easily accessible by tube & bus.
Tube: Cockfosters station on the Piccadilly line is a short walk from the park entrance.
Bus: 298 (towards Potters Bar), 299 (last stop Cockfosters Station).

Not at all. This is a beginner-friendly walk designed for people who are new to hiking or just getting back into it.

Comfortable trainers or walking shoes are fine. We'd recommend layers since the weather can change, and bring a light waterproof just in case.

A small snack if you wish (there is a small M&S next to Cockfosters Station)
A small rucksack or crossbody bag

The full walk takes around 1 - 1.5 hours at a relaxed pace. Factor in time to chat, take in the views, and grab some food & drinks after. We'd set aside the full afternoon.
