Epping Forest Loop & Picnic

We’re back for another hike, this time around the gorgeous Epping Forest. Once again swapping bustling city life for a slower pace. Halfway through our journey we’ll be stopping for a delicious picnic, and some games before continuing on our way.

Expect 3-4 hours of moving time, with scenic stops and photo opportunities.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Trent Park is easily accessible by tube & bus.

    Tube: Cockfosters station on the Piccadilly line is a short walk from the park entrance.

    Bus: 298 (towards Potters Bar), 299 (last stop Cockfosters Station).

    Full meeting point details are shared after booking.

  • Not at all. This is a beginner-friendly walk designed for people who are new to hiking or just getting back into it.

  • Comfortable trainers or walking shoes are fine. We'd recommend layers since the weather can change, and bring a light waterproof just in case.

    • Refillable/reusable water bottle

    • A small snack if you wish (there is a small M&S next to Cockfosters Station)

    • A small rucksack or crossbody bag

    • GOOD VIBES!

  • The full walk takes around 1 - 1.5 hours at a relaxed pace. Factor in time to chat, take in the views, and grab some food & drinks after. We'd set aside the full afternoon.

  • Drop us a message as soon as you know and we'll do our best to wait a few minutes but we can't hold the group for too long. If you do miss the start, we'll share the route so you can catch up or join us along the way.
