We’re back for another hike on the 19th September, this time around the gorgeous Epping Forest. Once again swapping bustling city life for a slower pace. Halfway through our journey we’ll be stopping for a delicious picnic, and some games before continuing on our way.

Expect 3-4 hours of moving time, with scenic stops and photo opportunities.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Epping Forest is easily accessible by tube & bus.

    Tube: Theydon Bois station on the Circle line is a short walk from the park entrance.

    We’ve set the meeting point at the station to avoid any confusion on the day. We’ll all set off to Epping Forest together.

  • Not at all. This is a beginner-friendly walk designed for people who are new to hiking or just getting back into it.

  • Comfortable trainers or walking shoes are fine. We'd recommend layers since the weather can change, and bring a light waterproof just in case.

    • Refillable/reusable water bottle

    • A packed lunch and small snack

    • A small rucksack or crossbody bag

  • The full walk takes around 3.5 - 4 hours at a relaxed pace. Factor in time to chat, take in the views, and stop for the picnic. We'd set aside the full day.

  • Drop us a message as soon as you know and we'll do our best to wait a few minutes but we can't hold the group for too long. If you do miss the start, we'll share the route so you can catch up or join us along the way.
